The Perfect Picks Flower Farm

When I tell you that this is the place that dreams are made of, I mean it. Nestled just outside of Richmond, VA in Prince George County, The Perfect Picks Flower Farm is quite possibly my absolute favorite location for Richmond Family Photo Sessions. When I visited last year, I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Taira Cibula, who was pregnant at the time with her second child. Taira’s passion for the farm shines through as soon as you meet her, and is evident in everything she posts on social media about her business.

Important Things to Know for Your Richmond Family Photo Session at The Perfect Picks Flower Farm

• As blooming flowers are seasonal, the farm is not open year round. The expected peak season is due to begin in mid to late June and the farm will be open for as long as the blooms last.
• Paid admission is required for ages 12+ and includes pick your own flowers. This includes everyone visiting the farm, even if it is for a family photo session.
• Bring your own bucket (5 gallons or smaller) and something to cut the flowers with.
• Pack water, because Virginia is hot in the summer!
• Pets are not allowed at the farm.

• Taira is really great about keeping their Facebook, Instagram, and website up to date in regards to seasonal changes and inclement weather, so be sure to follow her there.
• While flowers picking could happen any time of the day , they usually catered the hours to mornings and evenings only to avoid the hottest part of the day.
